At the moment, we are looking for people to help us raise £20,000 so that we have enough money to bring the families over.

Further down the line, we will be looking for help with all kinds of things - people who speak fluent Arabic to help with translations, anyone with furniture or other good quality items to donate, benevolent landlords, TESOL tutors - anyone with a skill or an interest in helping us with our project.

They say it takes a village to raise a child, so it will take as much of this whole city as we can get to support two families.

START YOUR OWN COMMUNITY GROUP
If you want to start your own group in your community, then that's amazing, well done you! The more people that do this, the more lives will be changed forever.

You could do something truly life-changing by renting your property to a refugee family. You would have guaranteed rent for two years and would be doing something that really does make an incredible difference.
